Giri Subramaniam – Group Strategic Planning Director
Mr. Giri Subramaniam has over 30 years of senior management experience in New Zealand’s public and private sectors including multi-national Blue-chip service organisations in the Middle East, Hong Kong and the UK. An Industrial Engineer by profession, Giri has a successful track record in designing and leading large-scale business transformation and infrastructure projects. Giri holds Fellowships of UK and European Industrial Engineering bodies and has obtained an MBA from the University of Otago, NZ, where he was a prize winner in Advanced General Management and Human Resources. Since 2003, Giri has focused on the healthcare sector in New Zealand, providing consulting as well as line management, roles the last being Director of Organisation & Development in NZ District Health Board which involved significant re-structuring for shared service HR operations and re-engineering clinician deployment models.
