Trauma Centre

Over the past 2 years, Siloam Hospitals Group has invested in each hospital’s Trauma Centre focusing on service capacity through the addition of equipment, technology and provision of extensive training programs.  Now we are proud to offer a truly International Standard Trauma Centre based on the international best practice guidelines in relation to the American College of Emergency and also the Australasian College of Emergency. Our Emergency RMOs, nursing and paramedical staff have been trained by a Johns Hopkins Consultant over a two year period to handle heart attacks, strokes and traumas.

This has resulted in:

• A 24 Hour Emergency ambulance call center that organises the dispatch of fully equipped ambulances
• A fully equipped ambulance service with a system that enables a Doctor and Nurse Team to go with each emergency call-out
•  Provision of the US based Emergency Medical Technician Training Program to Paramedic level undertaken by Trauma Center staff
•  Fully equipped Trauma Center departments with evidence-based clinical pathways to ensure gold standard patient management
• The implementation of acute telemedicine capability for Specialist contact, specifically in our regional hospitals
• A Medical Evacuation service that can transfer patients from anywhere in Indonesia to our hospitals or international healthcare centers
