Jakarta, 23 July 2008 – Mochtar Riady Comprehensive Cancer Centre (MRCCC), Indonesia’s First Private Cancer Treatment Centre with State-of-Art Equipment, has today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Belgium-based IBA for the purchase of Indonesia’s first clinical cyclotron to produce isotopes. The MOU signing was attended by DR Mochtar Riady (Founder of the Lippo Group), HE Marc Trenteseau (Belgium Ambassador), Prof. Susan Tai (President of Mochtar Riady Institute for Nanotechnology), dr. Gershu Paul (CEO Siloam Hospitals), and Mr. Olivier Van Der Borght (President of IBA Molecular Equipment).

Siloam Hospitals invest US$10 million in state-of –the-art technology upgrade

Saturday, 28 June 2008, Surabaya, Indonesia – Siloam Hospitals announced today a US$10 million upgrade of medical imaging technology across three of its group hospitals, Siloam Hospitals Surabaya (SHS), Kebon Jeruk (SHKJ), and Lippo Karawaci (SHLK). SH Surabaya will commission new generation Brilliance 64 slice CT and Achieva 1.5T MRI from Philips Healthcare. This investment places Siloam Hospitals at the forefront of medical technology in Indonesia, and consolidates its position as Indonesia’s premier private hospital group.
